How to send out Christmas cards or Christmas gifts to less fortunate people?
I was wanting to use up the Christmas cards that I have kept over the years along with the stamps that I haven’t used and I thought of a great idea! What if I could send a Christmas card to someone who was less fortunate or someone in prison and put a smile on their face to let them know that someone was thinking about them this year other than their own friends and family? But before you doing so, just call your local hospital to ask if it is possible. Do you think I’m right in this case?I just wish that we all could be on the same page instead of thinking only of ourselves for a change.I’ve been to a hospital. I have just finished printing out Christmas labels, writing inside store-bought cards and addressing envelopes to friends and family. You’ll find lots of homeless people there. Churches will also be able to help. Thanks for reading! There is unfortunately a lot of kids in there and they have to stay there for Christmas. Just look for the prisons in your area. Be careful not to send to anyone who has been violent or done anything to children, though.:-) If you’re looking for the less fortunate in your community, find the soup kitchen. For prisoners, you can get addresses on prison websites. It is sad because I didn’t address them and when I delivered Christmas card to the kids personally the parents were very pleased. :-)Others great idea is you could go to to the local Good Will or Salvation Army and ask them there how you would distribute the Christmas cards or Christmas gifts there. That is one way how we can brighten their day.
